Cypress Grove Preserve

Just north of the town of Marshall on Tomales Bay, California, is the 135 acre Cypress Grove Preserve (CGP), a wildlife sanctuary dedicated to ecological research. It is from here that ACR manages over 25 parcels of land around the bay, encompassing almost 400 acres of tidelands, marsh, and grasslands providing critical habitat to wildlife.

CGP is also the site of the Cypress Grove Research Station, ACR's facility for research programs. From here, ACR conducts a number of studies relevant to the protection and preservation of animals and plants both on and around ACR's preserves.

Although not open to the public, CGP invites volunteers to assist in various research activities conducted in the field. To get more information, call (415) 663-8203, or E-mail the Cypress Grove Research Station.
