What do you see when you visit Audubon Canyon Ranch? Captured on film is the experience of students from Oakland's Thurgood Marshall Elementary School on a class visit last spring.

Birders - Seasoned and Fledgling - Needed!
HEP, the Heron and Egret Program of Audubon Canyon Ranch, needs volunteers to help monitor nesting sites throughout the North Bay this spring. Volunteers adopt a colony, then track nesting activities of Great Blue Herons, Great Egrets, Snowy Egrets and Black-crowned Night-herons from now through June.  No experience necessary, though access to a spotting scope a plus!
