SCHOOL PROGRAMS - Audubon Canyon Ranch (ACR), at both
its Bolinas Lagoon Preserve and Bouverie Preserve, offer programs
to elementary schoolchildren around the San Francisco Bay Area.
The programs, designed for 3rd through 5th grades, incorporate
broad ecological concepts as well as natural history subjects
specific to each preserve. In the 1997-98 school year more than
6,400 children from 156 schools visited ACR. No fees are charged
for these programs and ACR will assist schools in paying transportation
costs to and from the preserve.----- more about school
