ACR Executive Director Emeritus Maurice “Skip” Schwartz was selected by the Marin Conservation League (MCL) to receive its highest annual conservation honor, the Peter Behr Lifetime Achievement Award. This award honors Skip’s thirty-plus years of service expanding ACR’s properties and nurturing its environmental educational and conservation science programs.
 
In January 2010, Skip transitioned from his role as executive director to a new part-time role, which allows him to focus on special projects.
