The generosity of ACR supporters helps kids and families
connect with nature, and supports conservation science and critical
habitat protection programs. If you remembered ACR in your
year-end giving or donated your time through volunteering last
year, thank you.
The new year marks a time of hopes and challenges, and Audubon Canyon
Ranch values the interest, support, and involvement of our many
wonderful friends.

Why is the red-bellied newt the unofficial mascot of the
Bouverie Preserve? Newts love the cool moist habitat in our creeks and
canyons. Indeed, the Bouverie Preserve is home to all but three of
the amphibians found in Sonoma County. Come spend time on the
Bouverie Preserve trails while discussing amphibian life cycles and fun
facts about these amazing creatures with Bouverie Preserve Biologist
Jeanne Wirka.
