This Natural Resources Management Plan provides the vision that guides future decisions for the Modini Ingalls Ecological Preserve (MIEP). Current management practices and an access policy are outlined. Available information on the natural resources of MIEP and threats to those resources are identified, along with on‐going and recommended projects. Finally, relevant documents are listed.

Audubon Canyon Ranch created a database, preliminary inventory, and report of the selected vertebrates of Modini-Ingalls Ecological Preserve, with species profiles, status assessments, and management objectives. Amphibians as a group have experienced declines in recent decades even in protected areas. Jim and Shirley Modini have long had a keen interest in the large mammals and birds of the ranch and as such have worked to document and invite others to document the presence of those animals. In contrast, the amphibians of the ranch are relatively unknown.
