PUBLIC SEASON...mid-March to mid-July each year Audubon Canyon Ranch (ACR), at its Bolinas Lagoon Preserve, opens its doors to the public from mid-march to mid-July each year. During this time, a large number of Great Blue Herons and Great Egrets nest in trees which can be observed from a number of viewing areas. There are many miles of hiking trails through the preserve, at points from which are tremendous views of the Bolinas Lagoon, Stinson Beach and Bolinas. There is no charge for admission but donations are welcome and appreciated. ---Hours are: -----Saturdays and Sundays -----10AM to 4PM -----Tuesday thru Friday ------------2PM to 4PM-----(by appointment) |
