...as a SCHOOL PROGRAM DOCENT (fall & spring) Audubon Canyon Ranch (ACR), at its Bolinas Lagoon Preserve in Stinson Beach and its Bouverie Preserve in Glen Ellen, offer school programs to children in grades 3 through 5, which are taught by docents. Docents are trained during a 22 session (once weekly) course at the end of which they are ready to begin working with young children. Docents provide both in-class teaching to children as well as teaching in the field when classes arrive at the preserves.	more about... DOCENT TRAINING more about... SCHOOL PROGRAMS
...as a RANCH GUIDE or HOST during PUBLIC SEASON Audubon Canyon Ranch, at its Bolinas Lagoon Preserve, opens its doors to the public from mid-march to mid-July each year, at which time a large number of Great Blue Herons and Great Egrets nest in trees observable from a number of viewing areas. ACR needs volunteers on weekends during the public season to act as Ranch Guides and/or hosts to guide and assist visitors.	more about... RANCH GUIDES & HOSTS
