Each year, Abraham Lincoln Elementary School collaborate with ACR and Madrone Audubon on a full day of bird appreciation and nature activities at the school, located on W. 9th Street in Santa Rosa. The school is located just one block from the established nesting site of Great Egrets, Snowy Egrets, Cattle Egrets and Black-Crowned Night Herons who arrive each March, nest and produce young, with a full nesting season readily available for observation through the end of July.

This year, due to Covid-19, the festival will run several days and be hosted on a virtual platform.
