The Point Reyes Birding and Nature Festival is a must see birding event program of the Environmental Action Committee of West Marin.

The Festival takes place at the height of spring migration within the Point Reyes National Seashore and surrounding areas featuring over 50 field events and indoor workshops.

Participants will see migrating seabirds, waterfowl, resident and migrant land birds, raptors, alcids, and owls. In addition to the unique birding opportunities, there are stunning wildflower displays, butterflies, dragonflies, migrating whales, elephant seals, sea lions, and Tule elk waiting to be discovered.

The goal of the Environmental Action Committee in sponsoring the festival is to help you learn about and appreciate as much as possible the abundant birds, wildlife, native wildflowers and natural history of the Point Reyes area. Our region has one of the highest bird species counts in the United States, thanks to our mild weather, diverse habitats, and the excellent work conservationists and local, state and federal agencies have done to protect the West Marin environment.

ACR is proud to cosponsor this event!
